Question: After getting EAD card, even if H1 visa is still valid, does filling of I-9 form with company payroll dept only makes the EAD status in effect. Please clarify.
Now if H1-B six-year limit expires after getting filing AOS and getting EAD, what is the legal "work status"? Is I-9 and EAD valid after that?
