EAD and H1B

Hey guys,

I applied for adjustment of status (I-485) in Nov-2001. I haven't received my approval notice to this date. My EAD expires in Feb2003 and my H1B expires in June-2003. My question is
a) Is my H1b still valid after my EAD was approved. Did my H1b cease to exist once my EAD was approved. I have applied for EAD renewal and haven't heard any decision yet.

A lot of postings about this issue could be found in this forum. But the short answer would be: Your H1B (unless itself expired)becomes invalid if and only if you've ever used your EAD to work. (e.g. Your employer filled out a new I-9 form based on the EAD or you changed job using EAD) -- check with your employer to find out...

I never used my EAD nor switched companies. I am with the same company with H1b and my Company does not know about my EAD.
