I am currently on H1B with company A. I have just received EAD through my spouse. Can I start my own business using this EAD and also continue with my H1 status with my current employer ? Or is it that once I use my EAD to do something, then I would have to declare my newfound EAD status to my current employer and make necessary changes(H1->EAD). I guess, my question is can I maintain EAD and H1B together. Any responses/experiences/suggestions in this regard would be highly appreciated.
