My attorney sent me a email and told me I need to apply
for H-1B extension 2.5 months before my H-1B expired.
I talked with my boss today, and they told me because the attorney charge us too much (800$ layers fee + 1130 INS fee)
they want me to wait.

My EAD will be expired in June, my boss think I can use my EAD right now, and if my GC has some problem, they will apply new H-1B for me at that time.

Anyone here have similar situation? my I-485 is WAC-02-110-****
I do not know when I could get the GC.

Any suggestion?

Thanks

Here you can find my thoughts on this issue. I hope I am right, but that is not legal advise. You should proceed the way you feel is rigth for you.

Good luck

Urgent help help !!!

If H-1b expires and the person starts to work on EAD, later due to some problems, green card application is no longer valid and the company applies for a new H-1b (maybe through premium processing).

After the h-1b approval, is it true that the person will have to exit US and come back with H-1b stamped on passport and h-1b I-94, only then can he/she start working again on h-1b ?

Please help..
