Hi,
I have couple of questions and concerns, will appreciate if someone can help/suggest to me :-
My green card is being processed by company A
I was working with company B when I got my EAD card last year. I was on H1b visa of company B.
I changed my company last month and joined company C in October 2004.
My I-140 got cleared in April 2004, finger printing is done too. As per the priority date, my case should have been cleared by now.
I got an information from USCIS office stating that my case has been transferred to the local office, which i am guessing that they will call me for an interview.
I have been told by people since the green card was filed for future opening and after I receive my EAD card, I am supposed to be working with company A who filed my Green Card...
My question is:
a) Is is necessary for me to be working with company A ?
b) If the company A gives a solid reason for hiring me only after my Green Card is approved - will that help (in case USCIS asks me the reason for not joining the company A after getting my EAD card) ?
