EAD and Fingerprints

Will biometrics hold up an EAD? My lawyer said they will approve you but you will have to go there and get your biometrics done. Does anyone know about this? They are processing EADs with NOA of 3/13 and our NOA date is 3/31....our fingerprint/biometrics appt. is 5/21....NBC is starting to really move and would hate for our 5/21 appt. hold us up....

BTW as of 4/21 NBC was on NOA date of 2/14....within two weeks they have already processed a months worth!!
 
Take your NOAs and see if you can do a walk-in at the Application Support Center for your biometrics. It never hurts.
 
YE you do need your biometrics done, cause processing EAD is being initiated after your FP and picture are taken at the ASC and those were reviewed by NBC. The EAD bears the photo they take and your FP. As bigclaw says you might wanna try on walk-in bases at the ASc. for some reason it works sometimes, if you want your EAD sooner.

1. doesnt matter at all- my fingerprint appointment is next week and i've got EAD yesterday with no problem.

2. dont pay much attention to the dates on their web site- it can jump up and down and you can still wait more or less.
this information is very imprecise.
