EAD and fingerprint questions

After 9 months of long waiting, EAD and AP finally got approved. Haven't received the card yet. My question - what's the valid duration for EADs & APs nowadays, 1 or 2 years? Secondly, do they update online status if they send you a fingerprint notice? Thanks very much for any response. Good luck!

Aps: 12 months,
EAD: 3-18 months

Secondly, do they update online status if they send you a fingerprint notice?
No they don't!
