EAD and AP

I want to file EAD and AP myself. I will fill out forms I-765 and I-131 while carefully following filing instructions. Will that do it? Anything else?

Am I better off asking lawyer to assist me with application?

In the past I asked my lawyers to do basically everything. But one of my lawyers told me if I did EAD myself I could save about 400 bucks. So for my third EAD, I did it myself. It's very simple. Although I did get a RFE, it wasn't due to my misunderstanding of the process, but rather because I forgot to go to a local ASC for fingerpriting etc! (<- So don't you forget this part please!) I can't speak for AP, as I haven't tried that myself yet.

Hi Guys,

Its not a big deal in filing EAD/AP by yourself.
I have done formy self last year ad approved without any issues.
Just go to visapro.com and get the editable forms and fill it, take a print out
and carefully check the applluication..not once..check twice..ask your (if married) spouse to check once moe to verify...
attach all the documents...what all required are I-485 copy/appl forms/check/2 color fotos front facing/color photo copies of all pages of the passport/color photo copy of DL/ marriage cert if married for spouse.

That's it..you will get it easily...I did send the paper filing instead of online.
every thing went fine and sendit thru priority mail thru USPS so that you can track the appl and as well as check your banka ccnt after 4-5 days so that your check wud have got encashed.

Y u want to waste money by paying to lawyers for this simple 1 day work. (over all it took some 3 hrs for me take print outs/photo coping etc)
