I just found out that my lawyer send the EAD and AP renew application to Nebraska instead of Texas when I try to check the status on line.
Both of EAD and AP sent Aug, 12. I have both receipt. Now the AP was transfered to TSC Sept. 24th. On the EAD, the online checker said " the application was received Sept 23, it takes 60 -90 days to process the case..." I called (402)-323-7830 to check the status, it said "your ead application was received Aug, 13, ...". My EAD expired Dec. 20, and the bad thing is my H1B expired Oct. 1, 2002!
My questions are:
1)When the case is transfered, do I got a new receipt? My lawyer said I will receive a letter inform the transfer, but not new receipt.
2) if the EAD case trasfered to TSC, can I still use my receipt from Nebraska to apply for intrim EAD? My lawer said I can use the original receipt for intrim EAD?
3) If I file another EAD renew application at TSC, will the dual EAD renew applicaition cause problem?
4) Can I rew my H1B after it expired for few days?
5) any one has similar experience?
