EAD and AP renewal

Hi, guys

Recently I submitted the renew applications of my EAD and AP to TSC. I have not seen any LUDs on my 485 cases. Are there any, if exist, 485 LUD changes for the renewal EAD and AP? Thanks.
 
I submitted my EAD for renewal too. I got back the application rejected because I've post-dated my checks by mistake (put the year as 2006 by mistake). But, I didn't get any updates while this happened. I'm still awaiting a response for the EAD renewal - 2nd attempt (with the correct dates).

Applying for EAD and AP does not lead to a change in 485 LUD. These are separate processes.

AP question

Everyone,

I have H1b visa for 3 more years. If I get AP, would it interfere with the H1b visa? ( I have to return to my country to get the visa renewed).

AP and EAD have their own SRC#, you can add the cases to your existing account, then they will have their own status. Yesterday my AP's (three for the family) were all changed to "approved and mailed"

Ellada,
Once you get in to US with Advance Parole, your status change. It will show on your I-94. You are not H1B anymore, and you have to obtain EAD for work authorization.

It's up to you whether you want to give up your H1B. I know it's hassle now - we have to actually go home to get visa on passport.
Why in the world do they have to make immigration process harder? :mad:

Thanks for clarifying that for me. I wasn't sure. I will be going home in October and will wait till then to get my visa renewed. I will apply for AP for husband who will not be going home.
