EAD and AP receipt notices.

Hello Immigration Gurus,

I had filed my AOS (after my 140 was cleared) on Sept 8th at the VSC. Its been 31/2 weeks since but I have not yet received any of the receipts either for AP, EAD or for 485.

Is this normal? I see that the date for EAD and AP is Sept 13. I was expecting atleast the receipts so that I would have an idea what my priority date is.

Please let me know if this is normal. Anyone else who has files around the same date and got their receipts?

Similar thing here

I applied on 20th (EAD/AP/485) and still havn't got anything from NSC. I got the receipt for I140 in the same week. All the papers were filled together. ... :confused:
 
My attorney sent on 09/15/2004 and still waiting...
One of guy whose rcvd date is 09/16/2004 has been recevied back on 09/29/2004.
I don't know whats going on...?
 
Got the Rceipt Notices for EAD/AP

Hi,

I received my receipt notices on the Oct1st(sent on Sept 8th). So those of you who have filed should probably wait for a month or so before expecting receipt notices to reach them.

I called National Customer Service Center (800) 375-5283 .The IIO told me that I would not receive a paper receipt if filed online
 
Yes I got them on October 1st, 2004.

Hi everyone,
I filed EAD renewal in Oct 15 from CSC, and i found out my check was cashed out in Oct.20, but i still didn't get receipt. Is this normal? how long should i expect to receive the receipt? Do I need to call INS about this?

It usually takes 2-4 weeks to get the receipt notices. If your check was cashed, you can get the case number from the reverse side of the check and can monitor the satus on USCIS website. If you don't have a case # - calling USCIS won't help since they can't provide you with any information without it.

Thank you for your reply. I just got my receipt today. It showed the received date: Oct15, Noitce date: Oct20. ( the same date when the check was cased out). Yes, your are right, it takes 2 weeks to get the receipt.

Hi All,

The RD on my AP is Sept 2nd and i still havent gotten anything. My lawyer said that if i dont get it until next week, then i can schedule a appointment with them and they will issue it right at the spot (hopefully)
 
You haven't received your notice yet? I don't think you can get anything from your local Service Center unless you are eligible for an emergency travel document. As I said in my earlier post - if your check for AP was cashed by USCIS, your receipt # is printed on the reverse side and you can track what is going on.
 
I485 receipt

Its been 6 weeks now and I have still not got my receipt for I485 and neither have they cashed the checks. Is there anything I can do about it except waiting.
