Just now we applied for our EAD and AP.

1) How long does it take to receive the receipt notice at this time?


2) Who recieves the receipt notice, Lawyer or myself?


3) Do we receive receipt notices for both EAD and AP?


4) What are the possible RFE's for EAD and AP?

== about 1-2 weeks. I received my AP receipt notice on the 8th day of them receiving it. I filed EAD a week back and havent' received it yet.

2) Who recieves the receipt notice, Lawyer or myself?
==If you filed yourself then you will receive it.

3) Do we receive receipt notices for both EAD and AP?
==Yes


4) What are the possible RFE's for EAD and AP?
== I have only seen RFE's for Pictures where the picture was not acceptable and had to be resent.

If applied through lawyer, who receives the receipt.

So, if applied through lawyer, will they always send the receipt and approval to the lawyer?

Hi OmGV,

If you've applied through your attorney then the receipts will come to the attorney's office.

I received an RFE in our EAD which states that additional documents are required. Again the RFE went to my attorney's office who informed me that additionally they need our copies of personal pages from our (me and my wife) passport.

The dates are

Applied for 485, EAD & AP : 07/31/2003
Receipt Date (for all) : 08/12/2003
Received RFE for EAD : 09/19/2003
Docs received acknowledged by BCIS : 10/10/2003
AP got approved : 10/21/2003
EAD got approved : 10/29/2003
Received AP docs (3 each) : 10/29/2003
Received EAD cards at home : 11/03/2003

Please note that the EAD cards came directly to our home.
