Hi All,
My EAD and AP have been approved.
My wife's EAD has been approved and hopefully in a few days her AP will be approved.
Existing EAD was about to expire on 12/6/06.
Given below is the time history,(rather our story)
3rd EAD Renewal Application Filed at USCIS-VSC.
Received at VSC - August 31, 2006.
Notice Date - September 1, 2006.
November 1, 2006
No LUD's nor nothing. Got concerned and researched the forums extensively.
Read previous posts and figured out steps to be taken.
Called attorney, attorney said around 70-80 days after filing they can talk with USCIS and not before that. That was too late for me.

Read about sending an Expedite Request to USCIS-VSC.
As per suggestion of my_gc_pain cited potential employment termination after 12/6/06 as a reason for submitting expedite request.
On November 6th called CSR at the 800 number.
40 Minutes of time wasted. CSR said that I should have received a notice for Biometrics for EAD within 1 month after filing the application. Sounded strange,since I did not receive any. But no use arguing or trying to make them see reason. Confirmed that he/ she was reading material on screen and making $20+ per hour. CSR says he/she will submit a request for our biometrics for EAD RENEWAL. Lawyer said that was strange. Biometrics for EAD are asked usually in Family based cases. Well that's another story.
On November 7th sent a Expedite Request by Fax to USCIS - VSC.
for both myself and my wife.
LUD's on my Case for both EAD and AP. Nothing on my wife's EAD and AP.
My EAD approved on Nov 8 and then AP approved on Nov 13.
Nothing for my wife.
On Nov 10 scheduled a infopass appointment for my wife for Nov 17 in Newark. Prepared letters and copies of required documents to submit in Senators office on Nov 20, just in case infopass appointment for wife is not fruitful.
November 14, 5.30 PM Wife's EAD approved online case status changed.
November 14, Wife's AP LUD.
Nov 14, Received my EAD in mail when I returned home.
OK now breathing easy for one more year. Thanks my_gc_pain for your suggestions and idea.
My 90 days after filing would be on December 1, 2006.
Hope this gives others some hope.
