EAD and AP Approved

My EAD and AP has been approved and i received emails from CRIS notifying this.
Application Type: I765 , APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION

Current Status:

On September 26, 2006, after approving your application, we ordered you a new
card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.


Just wondering how long would it take to receive the cards.

I have my AOS interview on OCT 16th. There are still no updates online for I485. My question is if i am approved (God willing), would i still get an email even though i dont see my I485 status online. There was no option on the I485 application to provide an email address. So anyone who has been approved and had not had the I485 status online, receive any emails after AOS approval. Please reply.

Thanks for replying, My I485 is not available online. When i provide my receipt number online, it says invalid receipt number. Must be some glitch in the system.
 
yOU MAY NEED TO GET THAT LOOKED INTO ASAP AND ALSO AT THE INTERVIEW SO THERE WON'T BE A DELAY IN YOUR PROCESS. ARE U ABLE TO GET ANY INFO ON THE 1-800-375-5283 NUMBER ABOUT YOUR1-485?
 
Yes, the first time i called the NSC, the immigration officer saw the case online on his system and could access it using my A#, but due to some glitch on the online system that we access, a lot of people are not able to access their cases online. I will try to call NSC again ask them to update the case online.

ok. But here is what might be a problem. When you get your EAD, (any day now) :) you are going to have to go to the Social Security Office to get Social Security Card so you can work. The amount of processing time to get the Social Security Card is pending on if they have received the I-485 and files from USCIS and if they have and their is something that doesnt match up they will not process ur request at that time and you will have to wait till they verify everything with the USCIS. (that is if they have your records in the system at that time). so it may be a difference of 2 -10 weeks. So be aware of that and Godspeed.
