Hi,

I have a FP appointment for April 13, 2006.
Any idea how long it will take before I receive the EAD?

Thanks!

ND mid January, 2006
AP end of February 2006
FP April 13, 2006

2 days, 2 weeks or 2 months?

do you think it will be closer to 2 days, 2 weeks or 2 months?

Thanks!

It is similar to predicting when a baby would be born. You can only guess, but can never be sure :D :D

hahahaha...yeah you know that is coming but not sure "exactly" when.

I don't know how the timelines are right now at the NBC, have you check that out? I received mine 2 weeks after the biometrics/FP.

Good luck,

Cannot predict baby's birth?

Thanks for the help... but I don't think that it's the best comparison :D

People like me with an extensive medical background and a solid statistical foundation could tell you that babies are usually born after 9 months. At least, closer to 9 months than 9 days or 9 years.

Thanks though :)

that's exactly what I'm waiting for. My due date is 4/29 but I was told it could be any time from now to first week of May. I'm like a suspect waiting for sentence :p

Science has still not advanced to a stage where one can predict the exact date and time of a person's birth. My statement still holds true for your case :p

Going by the statictis we maintain on this forum, the expected average EAD approval is around 60-70 days (longer if you get an RFE). So your estimate approval date should be around a week after your FP. If it has been 90 days and your EAD has not been approved, you can go to your DO and get Interim EAD. Trust me...with USCIS... logic and statistics dont work and this is the best i can guess for you. Hope this helps. :)

To put more smile on your face and encourage you more most people get it btw 5 to 10ays after FP.

I know someone in NC that just got his 7days after FP

All the best :) :)
