Do I have to apply for a new EAD if I change from company A to Company B. I have just received my EAD an is valid for a year.

There is a I-9 form concept too.

Also, What steps I need to take for AC-21 ? any list ?

Thanks,
HudakChullu.

hudakchullu,

The EAD has nothing to do with your employer. The EAD is simply a permit that allows you to work without a visa. You do not need to apply for a new EAD if you switch employers.

I am not sure on the I-9.

As for AC-21, you will find two views on this. Some peple believe that its best to inform the USCIS when one changes jobs. I believe one can officially fill some forms and send them to the USCIS There are also a large number of people who do not think its important to inform the USCIS regarding a job change. I don't think there is any written rule that states requires a person to officially inform the USCIS upon invoking AC-21.

I-9 is Employment Eligibility Verification form

No need for a new EAD when you change your employer.
I-9 form is Employment Eligibility Verification form. You have to sign Section 1 of the form. Your employer has to verify your EAD particulars within 3 business days of hiring dateand sign in Section 2 of the form and keep it on their records.
