EAD, 245K and Drivers Licence renewal.

Hey everyone. I hope you all are still stuffed with Holiday Beast! I am working on an EAD card with no H1B visa since it was killed with an AC21 transfer to another company. My EAD renewal might fall short on time (it expires Feb 5th and the receipt date is Dec 12th). I don't have AP so I qualify for 245K. My drivers license expiration date is tied to my EAD (Feb5/07). If my EAD is not renewed in time, how do I present my case to the Department of Transportation when I go in to renew my drivers license. In the past, they just called BCIS and confirmed my EAD. What info do I need to take for them to have when they call BCIS to confirm that I am on 245K? Hopefully this won't go this far!!

If you are from Michigan, you do not need your EAD ot 245K details to renew your DL.

I recently renewed my DL - it was pretty smooth.
 
What did you take in?

So do I just have them call with my I485 number? How was your expiration date on your DL set? What did you take in? We are in South Dakota.
