EAD - 1099 Tax Basis

Hello All,

I have EAD (Dependent Applicant) . Now I have a job opportunity ,but the company is willing to pay me only on 1099 basis. If I start working on 1099 basis does it effect our GC process? My husband is the primary applicant and he is working for his GC sponsoring company.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

You are fine. With EAD you can earn money and be paid any way you so wish.
