Good News Guys,

My friend from Atlanta called me at 2.45 to say that his case has been approved today as per online message.

His details :

RD : 01/10/02
ND : 01/24/02
EAC-02-094-5XXXX

That's a terrific news for Jan filers..

Any idea about FP date?
Because if the FP date is sometimes in FEB/MAR/APR, then this is just another case with respect to FP and not RD.
There is something to cheer about if FP is MAY or JUNE.
I will not be surprised if there is another approval of RD:Feb 2002, if the FP was done in feb/mar/april 2002.

urgentgc there is no need to be offensive. I think mahesh_kk is correct. Pls see my posting (I found two approvals on 5/9 for Jan 31st when I ran the script).
 
If it is EAC 02-094, the RD must be 1/7/2002, where as your friend's is 1/10. If Iam correct the EAC # is dependent on the RD. Please see my signature, I also have EAC02094.
 
GOODNESS -- Receipt number reflects the ND, not RD!!!

BCIS doesn't care if your application has been sitting in their mail room for MONTHS. As long as it has not been keyed in to the computer, your application is not considered as 'receipted' (it does not have a receipt number).

If BCIS is trying to avoid second FP, this will be good news for those with FP dates in May or early June 2001 :) :) :)

Was he the main appliacant ??
What Ctaegory eb2 or eb3 or eb1 ??
When was he finger printed ??
does he have a joint appliaction or single ??

I also have Jan RD .. need to know more ..

Your friend has a special case ...
The difference between his RD and ND is very less .. this could be the reason for his early BCICS response !

We need to know when he was his FP ...??

This means that BCICS is considering the ND and not RD .. that is not fair ?? Can anyone share his thoughts .. ??
 
Jan15, to have one or two weeks between RD and ND is normal for January 2002 (and onward) cases. Mine is similar: RD 01/07, ND 01/22.
 
FP

He had his FP done on July 17,2002. July 23,2002 his FP was received by BCIS. Till yesterday he had his message saying

"On July 23, 2002...we received the results of your FP..."
 
I am a Jan applicant

RD - Jan 15
ND - April 04
FP - May 10

Mines is a large difference between RD and ND .. was my application sitting in BCIS office and not entered till almost three months ??

I guess Jan cases who are secondary applicant's are being touched as the BCICS messages for 485 approval are different for those who are primary and secondary applicants

NOV/DEC Cases

But I do not know what the heck happened to the pending NOV/DEC'01 Cases. Iam sure still there are lot of pending cases...

BCIS Sucks the way they operate. In another 10 days...they may touch some few feb cases too....God Knows....
