EA requirement for Refugee Asylee (Granted)q

Guys,

Can someone please tell me if I am required to have Work Permit for an Employment if I am granted Asylee. I heard conflict information, where (a) One must have valid EA and file I-765, (b) It's nice to have EA but you can work w/out it. Please guide me to the right information
 
You don't need an EAD after being granted an asylee status. Somebody's shared a memo on a different thread. Try searching for it.
