E1 holder applying GC thorught marriage

Hi everyone,
I hope I get some idea from this forum.
Currently, I have E1 visa which will be expired on August 2014, with I94 which has date of Jan 2015.
And I married to USC , applied for GC, done biometrics, my application status says at initial review.

My question is what if I quit my job, what will happened to my status?
Should I leave US and re-apply GC from the beginning?

Nothing will happen. As long as you have an I-485 pending, you are authorized to stay in the U.S. On the other hand, leaving the U.S. without an Advance Parole will automatically abandon your Adjustment of Status; if that happened you would have to start again.
