I am on E2 visa for my current employer, but I got an offer from my previous company and will now apply for a L1 visa as I will go back to my previous employer.
My questions are:
1. What is the correct timing that I can apply for this new L visa? Do I have to quit my current employer first and then apply for the new L visa? or Can I apply for the L visa first, then after when I officially get the L visa, then can I quit?
2. When applying for a new L1 visa, does the new L1 visa take precedence over the old E2 visa? For my case, since I still have a valid E2 visa, when I apply for the new L1 visa, dose the new L1 visa take precedence?
