E-filing of RTD

All,
I found this forum to be helpful. Thanks to cider or who let me know about this.

I have a question about the RTD that I e-filed. See if anyone has similar experience.

I filed the RTD online in early August. I finished the process and the following happened:
1. Check my credit card statement and the charge of $165 did appear as it should.
2. Go to CIS case status online and typed in my receipt number and it showed that "Your application was received on August 06, 2004...."
3. They also received my supporting document which I mailed the next day. I mailed it with return receipt, so the receipt came back to me and it was signed "Acting Director of Nebraska Service Center".

If I look at my online portfolio - the last updated date of my case is also the date they received my photo/supp. documents.

However, I have NOT received the printed notice from CIS. According to the e-file instruction, they are supposed to mail this receipt notice in 7 to 10 days. I haven't received mine.

Is this normal or expected? Anybody has similar experience?

By the way, my spouse experienced the same thing. Everything checked out ok except that the paper notice didn't come via mail.

I just filed the paper application and actually am starting to get worried because the check has cleared, it has been mroe than a month, and still no written notice from them. Let me post another thread witht hat question...
