E-filing of EAD and AP and fingerprinting

I applied I-140 in May, 2003 and I-485 in July 2003. Both are pending

no FP
no approval

I filed my 2nd EAD and 2nd AP using E-file. BCIS gave me appointment for fingerprintig in a local INS office.

My question is that, can this FP be considered as FP for I-485 as well? Any thoughts/experience.

Or they will send a separate FP for I-485?

No, I-485 FP is a different issue. You will receive FP notice for I485 in mail from CIS.

My i140 has been pending as well since May 03, what are your other details ? What is your EB ?? EB2 or EB3 ?

Only thing I can think of in my case is may be because I am from a special registration country. Otherwise there are no issues with education/experience or employer finances.

Are you from SR/muslim country as well ?

That doesn't explain anything. I ain't from a SR country but still my 140 is pending since March 2003.

Its mere luck I guess ;)
