I e-filed for renewing my EAD(renewing ffor the second time) in October and forwarded the necessary documents(copy of existing EAD and I-94) to the address given on the BCIS site and got the pitures taken at the Baltimore office.
My AOS(I-485) is pending for name check after the interview at the Baltimore office for the last 12 months. So when I applied for extending the EAD last time(first renewal by regular filing), the case was transferred to local office(Baltimore) immediately.
I am confused to find that this time EAD-renewal case (e-filed) is not yet tansferred to the Local office where my AOS is still pending. I have time till end of January 2004. Is there anything to worry about since my case is still in Chicago(I got the receipt for e-filing from Chicago)? I have 2 more weeks to cross 90 days. Can I walk in to the Baltimore office and get an interim EAD after 90 days of filing even if the case is not transferred to that office?
Also, Does anyone has an approximate count for the number of 485 cases pending in Baltimore office after the interview?
