DV2013 - Visa Bulletin - Trends

Hi,

First of all, this platform is awesome. You can easily become an expert in the immigration field, just by reading all forums. Fantastic job, everyone!

Now back to business

Do you guys think that there is any statistical correlation or a trend that could tell me when my visa number will become available? I have reviewed the last 7 years and according to the archives my case number (EU00025xxx) would become available:
- 2006: September
- 2007: August
- 2008: June
- 2009: June
- 2010: April
- 2011: May
- 2012:March
You can tell that almost every year it was earlier, but for some weird reason, I have a feeling that this year will be random. Any statistically proven conclusions, educated guesses, or random thoughts would be much appreciated. My H1B expires in May 2013 and it would be comforting to know when I can apply, etc.

I would say 2012 is an out of sample observation or rather a outlier due to the early calling of all CN being current in June.
I would say realistically on pre 2012 basis it should be between April – May 2013.
I understand on the Forum that if you are in the USA and doing AOS you could file a little early… read the AOS section especially posts by makiteasier.

My understanding is that I can file my AOS approx. 75 before my visa before my number becomes available.

Can I continue working here, after my H1B expires but my I-485 and I-765 had been filed and being processed. I'm still confused on this one.
