DV2012 Selectee on a J-1 needs advice

Hello,

my friend is a DV2012 selectee from Algeria with a high CN: 2012AF00052xxx

She is in the US and currently on a J-1 visa. The J-1 is expiring in November. She was about to send in an application for a H-1 visa.

Therefore I got a few questions:
1 - would you advise her to go for AOS or CP? AOS seems risky with such a high CN.
2 - I assume she can still send in her application for the H-1? It shouldn't conflict with the DV process, right?

Does her J1 have a 2 year home residency requirement ? That can get in the way of the H-1

Nope she is not subject to the 2 yr home residency.
