To all the 22000 voided winners, there's a petition going on on the official White House website. Read below about the details. If we get 5000 signatures within 30 days, the Obama administration will consider our petition. That added to the appeal, there's still a slight hope. Tell your family and friends about the petition.

We the People is a new way for Americans to create and sign petitions calling on the Obama Administration to take action on a range of important issues.

We the People is easy to use. Here's how it works:
1.Create or Sign a Petition: Anyone 13 or older can create or sign a petition on WhiteHouse.gov asking the Obama Administration to take action on a range issues.
2.Build Support and Gather Signatures for your Petition: It's up to you to build support for a petition. Use email, Facebook, Twitter and word of mouth to tell your friends, family and coworkers about the petitions you care about.
3.The White House Reviews and Responds: If a petition reaches 5,000 within 30 days, it will be reviewed by a standing group of White House officials, referred to any other relevant policymakers and an official response will be issued.
The idea of petitioning the White House or the government isn't new, but this tool is. The White House has never tried anything like this before, and as a result, we'll probably have to make some adjustments as we go. As we do, we'll keep you posted on the White House blog.

THE DEPARTMENT OF STATE CONSULAR AFFAIRS MISTAKENLY NOTIFIED ABOUT 22,000 ENTRANTS OF THE 2012 DIVERSITY IMMIGRATION PROGRAM THAT THEY HAVE WON THE USA DV LOTTERY IN 1ST MAY, 2012 WHICH WAS LATER VOIDED BY DOS ON 13TH MAY, 2012.

THE WINNING NOTIFICATION WAS VOIDED AFTER THE DOS DETECTED SOFTWARE GLITCH BUT WE ALL KNOW HOW DIFFICULT IT IS TO BE SELECTED AS A WINNER IN THE DIVERSITY IMMIGRATION PROGRAM OUT OF ABOUT 19 MILLION ENTRANTS WORLDWIDE AND THE KIND OF EXCITEMENT YOU EXPERIENCE AS A WINNER.

Compared with the other petitions on the White House site, this petition has a high moronic index: all upper case, spelling errors, weak argumentation, use of abbreviations (e.g. "DOS") which are unknown to the general public.
 
I'm not the one who initiated the petition. It's not perfect but it has the merit to exist. It's still editable. I've suggested to the creator to modify his petition.
It doesn't cost a penny, so it's worth trying it. With every 22000 people from may 1st, we would have way over the 5000 required signatures. Spread the word.

I highly doubt that all 22000 of them read forums looking for some sort of a petition. A lot of them never visit forums in the first place.
 
Yes you are right. Maybe you should make your post in popular websites so that it reaches all the people. This is the only way to get things done.
 
It's already on the 22000 groups Facebook pages. And with more than 150 signatures, it has become public on the White House website. I'll follow your advice an try to think of other means of communication.

There are plenty of websites like newyork times or some more news websites where you can make post your content there.

I've written an article about the White House petitions' site here. I didn't post examples of immigration related petitions (although there are plenty, and I support some), but you're welcome to add a link to this petition in a comment (I disagree with it, but I'll support you spreading the word).

What's important to remember though is that the petitions are for US Residents, which the 22000 are not.
