DV2007 Visa Issued (Finally!)

We received our visas today, finally!

My case was complicated by the fact that my case required administrative processing, not once, but three times! We travelled to the UK to submit our passports after receiving news that administrative processing had been completed and ended up staying for five weeks instead of one week because additional administrative processing was required two more times... Apparently, this was because my name is extremely common.

Best wishes to anyone who is still waiting.

Thanks! As you can imagine, I feel much better now.

We've actually been living in the US for the past 9 years, but my employer-sponsored case has been stuck in one blackhole or another for most of it. The DV lottery was a fortunate break for us. We decided to do CP instead of AOS, though it is hard to tell if AOS would have been less stressfull an experience or not.

congratulations and all the best.
It must have been stressful as Sptember is almost ending but now you can breathe a sigh of relief.
congrats again:)
