DV2007 CP ASIA - Question about post-interview

I am currently in the US on an F1. My case is AS8xxx. I opted for CP. So my question is to all CP winners, once my case becomes active, I will go overseas for my interview at the US Embassy. Right after the interview, if successful, they will provide me with a document that will enable me to enter the US as a permanent resident - is this correct? I may only go overseas for a 1-2 week period to conduct my interview and then return to the US. This is sufficient time right? Please advise as to what happens after the interview exactly. Since I am on an F1, do I need to do any additional paperwork once I am overseas at my interview? Thank you.

You need to allow enough time to do your medical exam and visa processing time.
Good luck

Do I still need a medical exam if I've already been living in the US and furthermore am covered by US healthcare? Also what is the typical minimum time to do the medical exam plus get the visa processed?

Just Follow the instruction whatever they suggest on first/second package. It doesn't matter weather you are in US or Abroad and u already have the Healthcare in US. The Department of home land security/ Immigration doen't have any records about your health history, and it's a process to collect these info at the time of CP/AOS.
