I am a DV2009 selectee with CN:2009AF000005XX, I am currently on an F-1 visa and have the fall semester left to get my masters degree.
I am opting for AOS because I will not be able to return to my home country for a CP.
My wife is currently abroad.
I felt that because my number is quite low, i would be able to have enough time to process a FTJ for my wife.
I know the FTJ benefits for dependents for the DV2009 program ends in September 2009.
I have read up some FTJ threads, but they seem to be for the EB category! which don't really have a time limit on them.
Does anyone know the time line for the follow-to-join?
Does anyone have any experience with this for the DV program? or know anyone who has done this before?
