The date for my appointment in Ghana is next week. l am student currently in London. i scheduled to leave last Saturday but due to the volcano ash in the airspace all flights grounded in UK. i sent email to Ghana and Kentucky this morning about my situation. please your advice. Thanks

Sorry for finding yourself in such a difficult situation which is out of your control. At the moment we don't know when the flight ban will be lifted. Before you have your interview, you need to do a medical test and I think it cannot be done at a short notice. My advice is try and call the embassy in Ghana and explain the situation to them. But it's good that you have already communicated this to them. If the no flight ban is not lifted on time then you have no option other than to reschedule the interview. Follow your email with a quick phone call to the consulate to find out what you need to do.

They lifted the ban now. Just call ur airline to know when next u can travel. I am in the same situation too. My wife is schedule for interview in Nigeria 1st week of May and i've been worried because of the volcanic ash eruption but thank God our flight is tomorrow and they have opened the airspace.
