DV Lottery Education Requirements Question!

I've read that you need to have at least a high school education to apply for the green card lottery. By the time applications open and close this year (October-November), I will only have a few days left to officially complete high school. Am I still eligible? If I get my high school certificate a few days after entering, will I be disqualified?

In other words, if I win the lottery and get to the interview stage, will I be disqualified if I gained my high school certificate a month after entering the lottery? Or do I just need to have the required documents by the date of the interview?

Well, that lottery application clearly states that "highest level of education as of now". So while you are applying for the lottery, you must have atleast high school education at that instant of time. I think it is clear, that is what the application says. I don't know whether you will be disqualified or not.

chances of winning loterry are pretty low... I would not worry about this now.

If you do win, I doubt you will be disqualified if by DS-230 stage you will have high school education.

But yeah there is a chance, that at interview they might get angry for submitting wrong info... but again they might let it go because it isnt actually severe.
