DV-2015 photo requirement

Hello, I am new to this forum in fact this is my first post, also this is my first time trying the DV lottery
After reading the instructions I went ahead and opened the department of state's free photo tool to crop the picture and attach it with my entry. So I did crop it and and it was accepted then got the application completed message and the confirmation number. Later on I found out that my pic was cropped from the top, means my hair from the top was cut off a little bit and my face is taking more than 60% of the image. I guess I didn't know how to use the tool. I cropped it without moving it or un-zooming it. Even if the form was accepted and got the conf number but im concerned that it will be disqualified in a long run. My question is, can I resubmit a new entry even I already got the conf number?
If it was accepted and conf number was sent is that means my entry is correct? Do they send you the rejection via email in case my photo was wrong?
Thank you very much for your help.

I don't know about whether or not you will be disqualified from the photo, but certainly you will be disqualified if you submit more than one entry. Your best bet may be to contact KCC and ask if they will allow you to submit a new photo.

You will not get a rejection via email if your photo is incorrect. You will only know on May 1 if you have been unsuccessful, and even then, you will not be told why (photo or otherwise). Hopefully if it was accepted by their 'photo' software during the application process, it will continue to be included for consideration in the draw. Try not to worry if you can, it is done now. As others have stated, under NO circumstances apply again.
