I am selected for DV2012. Well, I just finished grade 10 in Thailand, so it was just 10 years course, then I continued the diploma for 2years and did 1 year topup degree in Malaysia. So my highest education is the bachelor's degree.

I am not sure if I am eligible for this?

High School Education: A high school education means successful completion of a formal course of elementary and secondary education comparable to completion of a 12-year course in the U.S.

Work Experience: If you are qualifying with work experience, you must have two years of experience in the last five years, in an occupation which, by U.S. Department of Labor definitions, requires at least two years of training or experience that is designated as Job Zone 4 or 5, classified in a Specific Vocational Preparation (SVP) rating of 7.0 or higher. The U.S. Department of Labor provides information on job duties, knowledge and skills, education and training, and other occupational characteristics at their website online.onetcenter.org The O*Net online database groups work experience into five "job zones." While many occupations are listed, only certain specified occupations qualify for the Diversity Visa Program.

I dunno, I'd be really careful about this. There was a sad story in the Australian winners of 2011 thread about someone who left high school after 10 years of education before going on to an apprenticeship or something else academically, can't quite remember. But anyway, they got rejected at the interview because they didn't finish high school with 12 years of education. It's a difficult situation as many countries have different systems to the 12 years of primary and secondary education that is the norm in the US. Good luck with that.
