Hi, there

I am DV 2008 winner... Just got my interview last week.

1. I also didn't bring affidavit of Support with me, except i have asked all my bank statement to show ( i mean all my bank and my parent bank statement) I am a single mom but still use my parent bank statement. And it seems convinced them because during interview, no more question ask for any other support.

2. DS 230 is the form that you should received in the first pacakge and return to KCC (Kentucky Consular Center) with your primary document which all stated in guideline in the first package....... no need to fill up another while you wait for interview.
The address issue shouldn't be a problem, as long as they can reach you.

3. I don't think so as long as you have all document translate in English..
4. This is hardly say, because for me... while i sent the application i already fill up also my child but not my husband ( we are not legally married) but during interview he asks me if i wants to have my husband go along with me. Just only legally married and submit his paper work for additional. but i told him it's ok, since my husband already have his mom ( who 's already US resident) put application for him already many years ago.
I would say, you can add your child while you sent back the first package but if not, you should have your baby document ready during interview such as her passport ( i would recommend to have seperate passport with her mom, that's what i did to my baby). birth certificate (with English translation), House registration ( with English translation).... not many document for her. If your country take a week to make a passport, you can wait until you receive the second notice for interview date ( normally will give you 4-6 weeks in advance before interviewing date) at that time she should be able to sit and take picture for passport.

5. Prepare all her document, housewife is not a problem but you should have good reason to convince embassador of what is you and your family will do to survive after entering in US ? like what will be your plan?

6. Already mention in 4.

Hope this is help !!

Kathy
