Hello..
Here is the deal.. I've followed regular process of AOS.. Sent 485 to USCIS,

  • Got my fingerprints appoitment notice
Went there and they took everything they need
2 days later I've got different appointment notice saying that I need to to do biometrics.. I got confused.
Went there, and officer told me that because I've already did biometrics I don't need to do it again. Fine.
Went to the interview.. Answered questions, etc.. Offices asked to bring in some documents from the my current university( I am student of F1 now). No problems. Lawyer asked about clearance.. Officer answered - clarence passes, everything is okay, I just need these docs from the university. Fine.
Next day documents were submitted to the USICS office.
Today(March 24) I've got mail saying that they can't make the decision before they get FBI name check results. BUT OFFICER told on the interview thay clearance passed!
So, the question is: What to do? Do you know anyone with the similar situation? How to resolve it?
And thank you in advance. My email is sergei.by {at} gmail.com.

Most folks make an infopass appointment with their local USCIS office to find out why the hold-up.
