I got my Labor & I-140 approved by company A. Then I left company A and joined company B as a permanant employee. But company A filled my 485 in Mar,02 thru Company's Attorney. Company B laid off me. I have no job or may get in Feb,03 (got EAD 6 months back). But I have come to know that the Attorney (who filled my 485) is not working with my company (A). What should I do? Because niether getting any support from Company A nor from Attorney. If I get any RFE in between then what should I do? This is very urgent issue for me and my family. Please I would appreciate if anyone can give me some solid advise ....

Thanks

Dosen't matter if he is not working with company A, he filed you AOS and was paid for it and is obligated to help you through the process.

This is a no brainer, contact the attorney. he should help you.

Find a job...

... in the same classsification as previous job. That will take care of things. Get any such job, and try to stay above salary range specified in I-140.

You should get copies of all documents filed on your behalf (it is your right) from previous attorney and , if needed (if you ger RFE) , hire a new one.

Good luck!

Thanks a lot for the prompt reply and valuable suggestions. But Attoney says that my company A didn't pay him money not only for my case but others also (Kind of dispute). He says that don't call me directly. Call company A for any problem. I have reciepts of Labor, I-140 and 485 only. Nothing else. If I go for a new attorney (now) then I may have to provide him my company's detail etc. Should I hire a new attorney right now or if I get any RFE then only....At present everything is going fine from INS point of view.

Thanks
