duplicate of driver license

so I lost my driver my driver license and I need a duplicate ,but I had that license when I was on f-1 status.But I have my EAD card still valid and an asylum applicant.Can I just use the EAD card to apply for a duplicate or will I need to show my I-20 instead.The problem is that my status is student not asylum applicant but I wanted to apply with my EAD so it does not take 7days to come out .How did any asylum applicant apply for it since asylum applicant is not a status.Any idea,by the way I stay in Missouri.thanks
