DUI/Green Card--Advise needed

Hi,

I am living in USA on a student visa. and I am convicted with DUI. I
was planning to apply for H1 this year year
Now i am confused and stressed that can I still apply for the Green
Card or not?

I would really appreciate if someone could help me with this.
