DUI and Immigration to USA

I am from New Zealand and I am a 21 year old student. I went through a police stop last night. The limit is 400, i blew 487 so was only just over the limit. I have no previous offences what so ever. I am trying to get into the USA as an international student. Apparently, the offence will be classed as a driving offence.

Is this going to stop me from getting into the USA? My dream has been to study music there and I will be so upset if this will stop me from getting in.

No, it wont put any barriers on your immigration to the US. Normally after 2-3 DUI's you will get deported, so you are fine!
