Dual Citizenship issue

I am planning to move back to India, my 2 yr old is US citizen and I intend to apply for dual citizensip for india. Being a dual citizen does he have to decide which citizenship to keep when he becomes 18 or he would maintain his US citizenship for good even of he never returns back to US.

Is it even worth to apply for Indian citizenship or leave him on PIO?

Check out the thread on OCI. OCI is not dual citizenship. If your child has a US passport , he will retain his US citizenship regardless of how lung he stays out of the country.
