From the postings of today I observed y'day two users (on either coasts) were given an answer 'Have two A files on record'. While one of them had no EAD another had one from OPT. Till now I had come across scenarios of this happening for folks who filed I485 first and then went through CP. But these two scenarios make me wonder. So I have this following question:
If one entered US on F1 visa, obtained EAD for OPT, then had his H1B and then GC (through CP - no I485 filed) will he/she have dual A file from the OPT's EAD. I remember my OPT's EAD card had the A# field left blank. For a future applicant of N400 how can one be proactive and avoid any potential issue of delay due to this.
There must be a lot of ppl who are done thru naturalization with this background. Can this post be made as a sticky note for these set of people to post and how to avoid it by being proactive.
