Dsperate for help

Everyone,

I am honored to join such a great forum...you guys are doing great job.

I am man who has lost all his hopes.. I have no one to guide me....so i am begging u all to guide me ...few words of good advise thats all I am expecting

I came here in US on student visa in 2000...i have maintained my legal status and have been enrolled full time in every semester to avoid "out of status"
When i came here i was expecting to support my self but as a foreign student i was not allowed to work full time and tution fees was way much expensive for my parents to afford. somehow i manage to drag my self for two years but now my old father can't pay $11000 per semester for me... I can't go back w/o degree...things back in Pakistan are already hopless...i have searched all my options for loan or any such grant...but no result...

W/ no other option i have decided for applying for asylum...there is no other way i can stay here in US...help me guys am i going on right way...and what are my chances of getting asylum...
 
Without knowing your exact situation, it's hard to tell how you can apply for asylum. But since you keep your legal status as a student, you should be able to work legally during your summer break and even during the semesters to make some money. I know that's the way how a lot of foreign students support themselves. I suggest you check with the International Student Office of your school to make sure you follow all the legal procedures in order to work. They should be very helpful in this aspect.

I really appreciate your reply... I am aware of my semester break work...and

part time work during semesters.. but i am not taht skilled to generate 11000 bucks in 3 months...the reason i am going for Asylum is I know if i can put up my case of the basis of my relegion sect i have a slight chance..plus even if i get refused i might be able to buy some time...All i need is some time so i can look for options like legally marrying or shifting to Canada...as a student if i am not enrolled i can't stay in US..i have already 5000 bucks pending fee for my previous smester and the future semester is still going to be $11000..
Trust me my friend even feeding myslef has become a struggle w/ no one here to help..

as for international student advisor> they haven't helped me a bit...all they look for is fee...which i can not afford now
