Hi everyone,
i shall try to put my problem in brief in points.

1. Shifted to another university in my second semester after coming to US.

2. The transfered university DSO typed my program end date as MAY 2005, but it should be typed as MAY 2006. so typing error made here

3.immediately reported him, they realised and put a remark on the same I-20 like, " the program end date has been typed wrong. the correct program end date is MAY 2006. i thought thats fine . problem solved.

4. the actual thing is he never updated(corrected) the date my SEVIS record. so i am out of status since from MAY 2005. they told me about this a week back . until then they never informed me.

5. one more thing is i traveled to India on MAY 15,2005 and came back on June 15, 2005.[this period i was out of status]. how could they let me in ?.

There are lot many questuons popping in my mind. i dont want to bother you people with those. i really appreciate if you could provide me all the details that you know regarding this issue.

Because of the mistake made by DSO, i am really suffering now. i am trying to contact them, but they are not helping me out. they are keep on delaying the matter and not ready to discuss directly with me. they asking me some time to settle the issue.

one more thing is i am getting graduated in Dec 2005. so my condition is critical now. kindly help me.
