I received my J1 visa on feb 23 2006.my ds 2019 form states the program start date as march 1st and the end date as feb 28 2007.my j1 visa also is valid until feb28 2007.i was supposed to join duty on march 1st 2006,i had even bought the ticket but due to unavoidable family reasons,i plan to postpone my joining date to july.my professor is also willing for that ,but i am worried about the ds 2019 form.
Q1:can i travel and join duty at the same university under the same proffessor with this visa and using the same ds2019 form even though the start date will be differrent.
Q2
r should i get a new ds 2019 form(with july as starting date) but travel with the same visa.
i would like to have your help as i have to decide fast.
