DS156 question

Friends,
I have applied for my I-485 and am attending an interview at the Chennai consulate for H1-B revalidation next month. In form DS156, for the question "Has Anyone Ever Filed an Immigrant Visa Petition on Your Behalf?", I hope there are no repurcusions for answering "yes". Please share your experience/knowledge.

should not be a problem at all...MAke sure u have all the docs including all the tax forms.

H visas allow for dual-intent ... so you are fine.

Also, irrespective of whether there are consequences or not, you MUST tell the truth in all these applications -- if you lie and its found out ( even at a much later time ), you could be in for BIG TIME trouble.

Just my thoughts.
