DS 260 cannot be completed (website glitch)

Hi I am a DV applicant case no 2026OC2xxx
I have completed and submitted the DS260 for myself (no problems there). But my wife is not able to complete her form accurately. In the Previous Employment / Education section, every time she selects "add another" the site freezes and we are locked out of the DS260 site for 15 mins or so. This did not happen when I was filling out my form and every other section of hers works fine.
Do I need to add another applicant under her name and start again and hope this problem doesn't recur? I would then leave her old broken application unsubmitted and then explain in my interview.
Emailing KCC has not been very helpful and I don't think they really understand what the problem is. Any advice would be great!

Try to fill in the form in the off-peak time.
1-monitor online activity: observe the website during different times and see when it is less busy.
Consider time zones

I’m a moderator in the American Dream groups, and I’ve helped many people fill out the DS-260 form.
I understand what you’re going through might seem strange, but unfortunately, there’s currently an issue with the official website for the form, and no one is able to complete it at the moment.

This usually happens at the beginning of each year due to heavy traffic on the site.
They normally fix it pretty quickly, so I expect the issue will be resolved within the next couple of days.

I wouldn’t recommend creating a new application.
Like I mentioned in a previous comment, the site was working fine, but unfortunately, once more selectees learned about the process, the traffic on the site increased a lot.
My advice is to just be patient and wait until the issue gets resolved.:)
 
It’s been a few weeks of trying at all hours and we are still getting the same error. What do we do?? Is this happening to anyone else?
KCC has replied with the same unhelpful “try restarting your browser” response three times now.
Would really appreciate any help. Thank you!
 
i had that same problem with my wifes application for days and i just solved it by selecting NO to those two questions (for work and edu). after selecting no i saved the page. then opened that page and selected YES to both questions and now page works normally. except i cant add more than 5 work experiences but besides that education sections are working
