Hi,
Have a question:
In DS-230 partII of my spouse , Question which asks Who is the sponser of her ????
should there be MY name OR my company's name & within the bracket written spouse employer.

You have the answer in your question, the later part is the correct one.
Your employer's name within bracket spouse's employer.

I (dependant) have left it blank !! Will it cause any implications or will they make me fill it at the embassy????

Hi,

Your question is not very clear -- are you saying that in Part I where they ask for dependents you are leaving it blank?. You should fill the spouse name and any children's name in order to submit a complete app. Also need to submit seperate DS230s for each dependent who is applying for the GC with you. Thus, if you have children who are US Citizens then you don't need to file DS230 for them.

In my case, we left that question blank (for my spouse). No issues at the consulate.

I'm assuming you are saying that you are the dependent (or in your dependant's form) you left it blank. Should work at Mumbai. (It did for me).

Did Mumbai consulate really look into the form what you have filled and what not. In my case she was collecting one after the other with out seeing what's inside for all the docs she collected.

Well, they took the documents at one window and after some time was called into the booth for "interview". So I'm not sure if they did it between that time frame. Also they had time between then and issuing the visa, so ...

I am talking about the DS-230 "part 2".
In point 29 of that form its asked :Name And Address Of PETITIONER?

For the primary applicant Name and address of his/her company should be written.

For the secondary applicant if he/she is not working what should be written????
Name and adress of primary applicants COMPANY
OR

Name and address of the PRIMARY APPLICANT .
OR

Leave it blank for the secondary applicant.

Hope i made myself clear.

Referring to the same thing only.

For dependent, Petitioner has been left blank by me.
 
Anushri,

it would be a big mistake if you fill in "Name and address of the PRIMARY APPLICANT" in the Petitioner field in the dependent's DS230.

The Primary Applicant is himself/herself a GC Applicant, and therefore, CANNOT be the petitioner.

So, correct answer is:

Either leave that question unanswered
OR
write the name of the Primary Applicant's Petitioner, and within bracket write "(PRIMARY APPLICANT'S PETITIONER)".
