Small Problem: Please Help.
A quick background:
After graduating (1999, F-1) I used EAD card (for optional practical training) as I was waiting for my H-1b to be approved.
Current Situation:
I'm waiting for my appointment letter for CP interview (likely to be in Jan 2004).
I was looking at the copy of the DS-230 I filed and noticed question 25 asks for the visa type of previous visits to the US.
I put my entry dates as 94, 96, and 98 (on F-1) and 2000 (on H-1b). I never entered the country on the EAD card issued to me in 1999. So I never figured to put that in.
But there is a "A" number in the EAD card and the same number apparently will be used in the greencard.
So my question is:
Will not putting the EAD card number on the form cause any problems.
Note: I was on the EAD card for 4 months only (May 99 to Nov 99) before my h-1b was issued.
Question 25 asks for previous "visits to or residences", so should I have put the 1999 status of EAD card in there. Will it be a problem in the interiew?
Thanks for anyone who can answer this. I will be very grateful.
Vijay
